Most of the time we search for inspiration. We listen and look for someone or something to motivate us. What we need to realise is that our mind is very powerful. I believe the saying “anything you put your mind to, you can achieve” we need to believe in ourselves and make our dreams and aspirations real.
I have a creative mind and sometimes I get visions of creative work, but I never act on it and soon forget about it. A few days ago I had a vision of an art piece and I decided to draw it out roughly so I would not forget. That very same day I bought everything I needed to create what I had visioned and I made it happen. This idea came from me. I inspired myself, I made what I visioned happen. You get a feeling of success it may be a small thing but the feeling was greater!
I want to inspire you to search within. Inspire yourself and make dreams happen. Write small goals for yourself, give yourself a realistic time frame and aim to achieve these goals. Once you have got in the habit of goal setting. It’s time to think BIG! Make the big dreams and aspirations happen.
This website was a dream of mine. It may not be near finished to how I want it but I’m working towards it and making it happen. Always take action straight away, no dream is too big if you put your mind to it. The mind is more powerful than you believe.
It’s a simple quote but it helps with a lot of decisions I make and if I don’t have an excuse for that question I go ahead and do whatever it is.
Faith is taking the first step even when you can’t see the whole staircase. – Martin Luther King
Stepping into the unknown is a habit I keep doing. I feel fear but I don’t let it stop me from exploring. The outcome is either positive or negative I’m from that you learn life lessons. I’ve just learned to trust myself and go with my instincts.

Travelling changes everyone for the better. You become more wiser, more educated, you experience something spiritual and you appreciate everything a lot. You realise you have changed once you return from traveling. The world that you once knew just looks different.

Recently I have moved to Paris with a very tight budget I’m surprised I pulled it off. If you have lived in London you will find that Paris is quite cheap compared to London so it is possible moving out there with a tight budget.
I found my accommodation with eramasu. In Paris the rent and deposit for a studio flat cost me £850. In London it would have cost me £1400 for rent and deposit. This may not the average pricing but this is what it cost me.
Today in Paris I bought a weekend deal where I can travel on the metro all day for €3.85. I was very impressed because for a day pass in London it would have cost me £8. For a week pass in Paris its about €20 and in London £37.
Food shopping in Paris is very different compared to London. In London we have big supermarkets that are local such as Asda, Tesco, Co-op and Morrison’s and I found that very handy as it has everything you need. Paris does have supermarkets but they are independent stores and some are not close by so you can’t always go round the corner and buy everything you need. What is nice about Paris is that you have the individual food stores next too each other which is rare to find in London only in markets. Where I live in Paris there is a Cheese shop next to that is a Fruit and Veg shop and a Meat shop also next door. They are all local produce.
I’m not completely settled in Paris as there are afew things I need to do such as; get a french bank account, get a navigo pass, register to local doctors and learn to speak french. I’m going to challenge myself to speak fluent french in 3months. I’ll make update about that, however so far so good a lot of people speak English which is helpful, the weather is not so great but the city is still beautiful and the Parisian’s are friendly.
I have had a good experience of working in the Lake District and also a not so great experience. But no one can take away its natural beauty. I stayed in Keswick and Kendal and the landscape is just amazing to look at. I’ll share a few pictures I took during my stay.
On my previous post ‘Trying to Stay Positive’ you will read that my accommodation was not great at all and I couldn’t wait to leave. Well I have excellent news and the countdown has finished and I can finally leave. My positive mindset kept me going and I’m very happy I managed to stay. The people I was working with also helped as they were very friendly and welcoming. Overall I had an amazing challenging experience at the Lake District.
A young man who inspires and motivates me and many other people. I believe he is a great role model for the younger generation. And challenges the views about society and how we live in.
